We are born and cocooned in a blanket of protectiveness with parents making all our decisions. Holding on tight to the trusting hands of parents, promising to never let us fall we take our first unbalanced steps. Parents trustfully hand us over to our educators at school and we trustfully absorb all that surrounds us like a sponge to water.
Our minds and souls are so eager and hungry and without filtration we absorb the good, the bad and the ugly that the world has to offer moulding our minds, our souls, our life choices and our future.
Little mistakes from the people we trust in our bubble scars our souls only to reveal the depth of the wounds much later in life.
The people we attract to our lives either gouge the wounds to deeper to a point of no return for many or some of the lucky souls will cross paths with people that will heal the wounds and breathe back life into our existence.
We never realise the impact of childhood occurrences until much later when we either see our lives being broken.
Don't allow yourself to be a victim of your past, seek help, seek knowledge, turn to Allah Ta'ala and turn your life around and stop the chain of mess-ups that will extend through you to your next generations.
